These labels are made from water-soluble face paper and a water dissolvable adhesive. The labels are typically applied to polycarbonate food containers (sometimes referred to as LEXAN® containers) and are used to temporarily communicate important details about the food such as birth date, expiration date, ingredients, and much more.

And yet here is where the magic comes in… once the container is ready to be washed and reused again, the container – with the label attached – is ran through the dishwasher and the label is entirely removed and safely rinsed down the drain, with no adhesive residue remaining.
